Which are the Closest Beaches to Orlando
Talking of beaches close to Orlando, there are five of them that are so close, about 75 minutes or so of a drive of Orlando found on the east coast. On the west coast as well there are some more but these would be quite a drive anyway.
One thing that Orlando has been renowned for is the theme parks dotting it but for tourists heading to the coast, there is as well plentiful of the beaches that you can as well enjoy while here and the good news is that these are well located within driving distances.
One of the closest of the beaches to Orlando is the Atlantic beaches which is located on the eastern side of the coast. Some of the features making the Atlantic beaches worth mentioning is the fact that they have far better attractions and bigger waves as compared to the others.

Headed for the east coast, you will find quite a list of the beaches lying quite close to Orlando and they are such as the Cocoa beach, Daytona beach, New Smyrna beach and the Canaveral National Seashore. Driving to any of these beaches on the east coast wouldn’t take you any longer than an hour, with the drive to the Cocoa beach and Daytona beach taking you about an hour’s drive while driving to the New Smyrna beach going for about 58 minutes and you will only take an average of 50 minutes driving to the Canaveral National Seashore. The Cocoa beach has been billed Orlando’s go-to beach and has a lot to offer such as water sports, deep sea fishing expeditions, shops and lots of restaurants, museum, a thrilling nightlife, large picnic pavilions and great views of space shuttle launches from the nearby Cape Canaveral. The distance it actually has between it and Orlando is just but 59.8 miles and as such happens to be one of the beaches you can be sure to spend quality time in while on a tour of the city of Orlando. The other special beach close to Orlando we will take a look at is Daytona beach. Like has already been mentioned above, the driving time to Daytona from Orlando would be around an hour and it is a span of about 55.8 miles. There are as well a number of features and attractions at this beach making it as a well favorite such as there being a pier, a water park, family entertainment center, shops restaurants, lifeguard patrols, on-beach parking and the famous Daytona International Speedway which is as well nearby.
